If I was in an elevator...

Happy 3.1 guys! Hope it's going well on your end! Personally, I'm halfway towards having enought cash for dual-spec, although I'm debationg on wheather to spend it on dual-spec of cold weather flying. I really don't get why they lovered the lvl down to lvl 40, if you're not really gonna have enought spare cahs on you until lvl 80. (Well, maybe lvl 78.) If you're steel reeling from having to pay 39g for your first mount, there's no way you'll have a whopping 1000g. I know lvl 80's who struggle to earn 1000g.

As for the fishing dailies, they've inspired me to finally lvl up my fishing. The new 'queue for BG's where ever you are in the world' thing really makes fishing a lot less boring. (Although it's still the most boring part of this whole game, in my opinion, mostly because of the sheer amount of stuff you need to catch.)

Now that I've got all my post-3.1 reflections out of the way, it's time to get down to the main purpose of this post. After thinking about it a lot, I've finally decided to take part in the official '31 days to build a better blog 2009'. Note that because of my erratic posting nature, this will be m0re like 31 posts to build a better blog, as I probably won't do the thing every single day for 31 consecutive days.

Now the first task I've been given is to develop an elevator pitch. An elavator pitch is basically summing up your blog in the time it takes to ride an elevator. It can be used to draw readers into your blog, say, when you're in an elevator. (Is the word elevator starting to sound wierd to you?)

When I first read the task, it seemed pretty easy for me. Because, while there may be a multitude of paladin blogs out there, none of them use a distinctly 'non-80, non-hardcore' look at things. And as I thought this over, I realised that really is my niche, not paladins. I have other characters that I enjoy just as much as pallies. I never really give a distinctly 'paladin' angle. (Revelation!) So because of this task, I will be fixing things up and moving away from the 'paladin' niche, and more into the 'total and utter noob' niche.

So here goes. This is my elevator pitch. (By the way I'm assuming everyone in the elevator know's what WoW is. (a.k.a, the elevator is at Blizzcon.))

"Knights in Gold is a blog giving an angle on WoW from someone who isn't a master of the game, and doesnt know everything there is to know about the game."

Whew. That was actually a bit harder than I thought! Well, obviously I'll have another post soon, definatly in the next few days.

Drazmor the Busy Bee

Now that Drazmor's hit Northrend, it's time to start thinking about his future. Now, since I won't be hitting lvl 80 before 3.1 comes out, (Well, I hope not.) I've got dual-specs to think about as well. (I've decided to go Ret/Holy by the way. I know, it's the 'out there, completly useless, nobody's using it' dual spec.) Now it's pretty easy to find a good gear list online for Ret and Prot, (Honor's Code has done and awesome gear list for Ret/Prot, I love it.) so I just had to add my own little touches here and there for that one and I was good. But I'n struggling to find a good online gear list for Holy that I'm happy with. So, being me, I'm going to write my own. I'm almost certain it'll suck, but I'll scrape through. It has given me a wierd, twisted love of writing gear lists though, so I may try (fail) at wiring one for my hunter.

So I've got the Ret gear list down, and as soon as I get the Holy one done, I'll pop up a proper post. (Sorry guys, but: WoW> WoW Blogging.) I just wanted to ;et you guys know what the hell I was doing. (I konw, not posting since March 17, it's a disgrace.)
